It would upset me if a long-term partner confessed that he'd committed a serious crime before he met me. It would affect my relationship a lot because I value honesty and integrity. Also trust is very important to me in relationships.

I would just accept it and enjoy the company of my talking animal companion. The thing is I don't have a dog or a cat, but my neighbour upstairs has both. So I hope it happens to her animals and that we both can hear them talking. What fun. I wouldn't tell anyone else except Jen. I wouldn't want people thinking I've gone crazy.

What a glorious day. I slept in after going to bed late. Didn't get out of bed until 9:30. Got up and had a long shower and deep conditioned my hair and put a mask on my face for 30 min. Really spoiling myself.
I had a green fruit smoothie for breakfast. Then I headed to the community center around 2 PM hoping to catch the meditation workshop in the yoga room. It must have been at a different place or time because nothing was happening there. So I came home and had another smoothie for lunch. Then I called and e-mailed my women's group about a hike on the full Kay Dubois Trail. Only Anne D. and Shirley I. ended up going. It was fun walking with them and my knee didn't hurt until we were walking down the hill to Wa Wa Kie.
I then had lentil soup for dinner and another glass of smoothie. I phoned all my OAP folks to get a count for the elder social club at the HBI on Monday. I got 7 confirmed people. I love talking to 102 yr. old Wyn Goldstraw. She is so funny and sweet. Then I phoned Sharon and Gerry. Then Christine phoned me.
We had a good talk. Then I watched the rest of Orphan - a scary horror flick. It was a 2 hr. movie. I then watched Cold Case and did the dishes that have been piled up for days.
Now it's time to hit the hey. I've done a lot of e-mail communicating today too.

I'm going to EFT tap for back pain and a good sleep before I go to bed.

I got up to a cold crisp day and off I went to aerobics. Jeannie led a lively class and I enjoyed talking to Marci, Joy Bird, Marian M., Karen, and Jeannie S. The music was good and I worked up a sweat. I then went to the Lovin Oven for mint tea and a muffin. It was nice meeting two new ladies from Open Bay. I picked up my univera supplies and vitamins and supplements from Dr. Mercola. Then I came home and took a whole bunch of photographs of flowers and posted them to friends and family. Then I did a bunch of Univera e-mails and had a smoothie for lunch. I wrote Jen, Carol HB, sister Carol, and Dean. On the way home from the tea break I stopped into Loca and bought two tops for myself and a ticket to the fashion show on May 7th. I had a great talk with the owner Sam about Tara's art and about another girl named Lina's art which is very similar to Tara's. I then stopped at Tinkerbell's thrift shop and got 2 bags full of clothes, a candleholder, and a book all for $5. What a deal.
I had a nice talk with Gerry at 8:30 and had a late supper of sockeye salmon and balsamic marinated mushrooms, tomatoes, hot sauce, asparagus, and a green smoothie and my supplements. I watched part of The Ghost Whisperer and The Medium and then headed to the HBI at about 10:35 to see the Hal Douglas Band featuring Hal, Steve Moore on drums, Adam McGuffie on base, and Dave Blinzinger on sax, with Julie Frank sitting in on some songs. It was great dancing music. I danced with Christine Husson, Debbie, Maria, Colleen, and Paul Bishop. I had two corona's with lime and one light beer in a glass from on tap.
I stayed until last call and the last set of music.
What a beautiful starry night it was but OOOH was it COLD!!!!
Now at home I'm going to watch a movie and stay up late because I'm full of energy. I'm going to watch the classic The Three Faces of Eve with Joanne Woodward, Lee J. Cobb and David Wayne. For her impressive portrayal of a woman with multiple personality disorder in The Three Faces Of Ev, Joanne Woodward brought home the 1957 gest actress Oscar.

I guess the three things I'm most proud of is my loyalty to all my friends and family, my work I did as a primary teacher and librarian, and the work I'm doing on myself right now to find a path where I can serve mankind to the best of my ability in a loving way. I feel grateful for all the beauty and opportunity the divine puts into my life. And in all that I do, I shall seek to be a channel for the divine's love.

I would definitely consider moving to a different climate if I could afford it. I have gone on vacation in the winter in the past when it was so cold,  rainy, and windy and I use a SAD light during the winter and fall to ward off depression. I'm prone to depression anyways so I have to get as much sun as I can at all times and exercise too to stay balanced and happy.

I had a good day. I got up and started to watch "An Education." But then decided to eat breakfast, do e-mails, and catch up on mail. I had a doctor's appt. at 11 o'clock. It was a good session and lasted a hour and a half. I got a lot of things off my chest.
Then it was off to the dentist at 1:50. My dentist Paul is such a good guy. He put thin caps on my front two teeth and on my right eye teeth. Wow, what a difference. Nice white teeth for my smile now. I'll get the lower left tooth that's grey done next year. I only have $365 left on my dental plan to use this year and I have another cleaning session booked.
I then went to Campbell River for a shopping expedition. My dear friend Gerry L. picked me up. It was fun taking the water taxi instead of the ferry because they are fixing the dock from April 6th until the 10th. I got a external hard drive, a new 32 " HD LC television, and some clay plant pots, and groceries. I have taken "sale" shopping to an art. I'm going to use the plant pots to plant vegetables on my slate sun deck. It will be my own little garden balcony style.
I finally finished "An Education" tonight and also watched The Mentalist, The Vampife Diaries, and TMZ. I loved the movie "An Education". I especially liked the actresses portrayal of the lead character. (Kate Mulligan I think.)
Time to do some more tapping EFT - and then hit the sack. I have fitness class tomorrow at 8:30 AM. I tapped while I was in the dentist chair to calm me down. It worked.

I'm so excited. Today I created my own Univera website. I just followed the instructions and presto there it was. www.marionyole.myunivera.com/about  I really thought long and hard about the e-mail I sent to almost everyone on my e-mail address book.
I'm happy with what I wrote.
Then I read my horoscope for today and this is what it said.

Try not to get overwhelmed by the intense energy of the day, Marion. Instead of cowering away from it, use it as your fuel to keep the internal power raging internally. Your inner being has a tremendous amount of appeal that is sure to lead to the masses. Try not to get too bogged down with indecision. Remember that whatever path you choose is the right path. You can do no wrong.

This made me feel really good. Law of attraction and all that.

Now it is very late again but I'm going to watch "An Education." Then I'm off to bed.
I've had a great day.
The luncheon was excellent and I had a great chat with Debbie. Then I finally went to the laundry mat and laundered my spring bedspread and had a large Chai at the health food store "Amped on Nutrition." There I chatted with Norm Barker, Annet, and Deb. Then I watched American Idol and Oprah Winfrey and she had the cast of Glee on there. They were so good. I also enjoyed the PBS special on Buddah. It was great having an instant dinner of a green smoothie and my shrimp,vegie, rice burritos left over from my women's group potluck. Yesterday's women's group was so much fun. I loved seeing Shirley I, Gretchen P, Joyce E, Susan W, Anne D, Brenda D. and Susan W. I did miss having Pat L.(in China), Marie S. (in Ireland), and Connie O.(in Panama). We had a great potluck meal and then did a check-in and then played Rummikub in 3  teams of 2.  

Tonight our women's group met for the first time this year. We had a great meeting. We all chatted for a while and ate appetizers (Joyce E.)& drank wine and then retired to the kitchen for our potluck dishes. Shrimp wraps(Marion), chicken noodle salad(Anne), taboleh(Shirley), green salad (Brenda D.), and egg fritata with spinach and potatoes, and Susan W. made a fruit trifle with angel food cake, whip cream, and fruit.
After dinner we talked some more and then played Rummikub in three teams of two. I played with Anne, Shirley and Joyce worked together, and Susan W. and Gretchen played together. It was fun working in teams.
 
Shirley and Joyce won. Then we talked about controversial topics. We ended the meeting determined to set up Sunday walks again.

I came home and watched the end of The Goodwife.
Then I did more e-mails and ordered things for Joyce B. on-line.
Tonight I'm going to bed by 12:30 PM. I'll only write in my bedtime journal and read for 15 min.

My earliest memory is sitting on a couch in the living room in a filmy little party dress and having a professional photographer taking my picture. I was a cutie. I have the picture in my room today.
